Practice Flow Solutions was recommended to us by the top brass at Allergan Consulting Group. After that introduction, PFS was commissioned to help identify the needs and design for our new 17,000 sq. ft. office in Katy, TX. Tim took the approach of designing the practice to optimize all of our divisions into an efficient layout. As you can imagine, with medical and cosmetic dermatology and our dermatology research site all in the same space, it was a challenge, and Tim tackled it well. First of all, let me tell you that I have known about Practice Flow for many years, but had not had the opportunity to use them. When my group made the decision to build an MOB and move all of our services there, I insisted that we meet with Larry and Tim because I thought that the concept of designing a space around the workflow of the physicians instead of the other way around, was brilliant. I have not been disappointed. They met with each of the physicians and therapists, observed each in the current setting and really listened when we described our vision for the new space. After several revisions with our input, we have what we believe will be an ideal space for the physicians, therapists and our ASC. Obviously, we ultimately will not know until we are working in the space, but we know that it is certainly more innovative than we could have been.
